I recently just found this band called San Cisco in the most recent Teen Vogue magazine and I fell in love with them! Everything about them is absolutely perfect! Is plaid the new black?!

While my darling mother and I were shopping at Target a couple of days ago, we were in the clothing section and came across a rack of wonderful plaid flannel shirts. I was surprised at how quickly all of the shirts went, but anyways I decided to buy one. I actually fell in LOVE with the shirt! Over the next couple of days, I noticed a ton of girls young and old wearing them. I even kept seeing them in every store I went to so i thought to myself, is plaid the new black? After seeing plaid shirts everywhere I went, I chose to wear the one I got from Target when out to lunch with the fam! Here is a sneak peek of the shirt and me and my mom.. :)

Hi there fellow fashionistas!! My name is Katie and since I can remember, and that is when I was very little, I have always loved clothes, fashion and beauty. I always used to dress up whenever I got the chance and do other peoples makeup and tell them what looked good or what didn't look good. Now, I wouldn't call myself the queen of fashion or that I know everything about it. I just know that I love it and want to do something in fashion and work with it so I decided to start off with this blog. It might be GREAT or you know it might be terrible but I wish to learn from this and get further in my fashion filled life by running this blog.

To start off, I will just tell you some of the people that inspire me in my life and in fashion.
1. Audrey Hepburn is the one who inspires me the most! She was elegant, beautiful and dressed very classy from what I saw. I can't quite explain why I am SO obsessed with her....

2. The Olsen twins also inspire me with their beauty and wonderful taste in fashion there is SO much to love about the two! Their look is like a "Dumpster Chic" kind of style and I love it! From Givenchy to Balenciaga, every piece of clothing that they wear is amazing! If only I could afford Givenchy and Balenciaga...

3. And finally Lauren Conrad inspires me to the max! What she wears is gorgeous but I am more interested in her beauty tips like hair and makeup! I constantly check her website and other social network sites for the latest in what she says about makeup and the new hairstyle she has for the day!
